Information you provide
- Personal Information - Your name, email address, account credentials, and preferences you explicitly set within simplido. We collect these to enable account registration, communication, customer support, and to personalize your user experience.
- Content you create - Actions, Projects, Goals, Areas of Focus, Notes, and other type of entities projects you create, organize, and manage within simplido.
Information Automatically Collected
- Device Information - Device type, operating system, and browser information to ensure compatibility, diagnose technical issues, and enhance performance.
- Usage Information - Features accessed, frequency and duration of use, and interactions within simplido to understand user engagement, improve app functionality, and support product development.
How we use your information
We process your personal and usage information to:
- Operate and provide simplido features and services.
- Address customer support requests and service communications.
- Improve performance, usability, and relevance of simplido features.
- Protect the security and integrity of our systems and your account.
- Comply with legal obligations and safeguard our interests.
Product Updates and Marketing Communication
Upon registering your account, you will be automatically subscribed to receive email communications from simplido, which may include:
- Product Updates - Major updates of simplido and announcements of new features, product improvements, and service enhancements.
- Marketing - Information about special offers, events, or promotions that may be of interest to you.
You can manage your communication preferences anytime through the account settings, giving you full control over what type of communications you receive from us.
Alternatively, you can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link within any communication email you receive from us, or by contactingsupport@simplido.app directly.
Please note that essential communications related to account management, security, and critical product updates cannot be turned off.
How we protect your information
We implement industry-standard security measures designed to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Additionally, we carefully select service providers and third-party infrastructure partners who commit to respecting user privacy and maintaining data protection standards aligned with our own.

We respect your privacy and do **not** sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, to deliver and optimize simplido services effectively, we may share your data with:
- Service Providers and Partners: Selected third parties responsible for hosting, analytics, infrastructure management, email communication services, customer support software, and other essential functionalities. These partners are bound by confidentiality and contractual data protection agreements.
- Compliance Requirements: If required by law or regulatory authorities, we may disclose information to comply with legal obligations.
Your data, your choices
You retain control over your data. You may:
- Edit, update, or delete your personal information directly from simplido account settings.
- Opt-out from non-essential communications (such as newsletters and product updates) by contacting support@simplido.app. Note that essential communications about your account or product-critical updates cannot be opted out of, as they are integral to the product's functionality and security.
- Request full account deletion and removal of all your data by contacting privacy@simplido.app. This request initiates an irreversible permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period (in which you could reactivate your account upon request).
Data retention and deletion
Your personal data will be stored securely as long as your account remains active. Upon a valid account deletion request or after your account becomes inactive (i.e., no login) for a period of six (6) months, your data will be automatically scheduled for deletion. All your personal data, and related usage information will be permanently removed 30 days after such deletion is initiated.
Please note: Regular system backups may retain copies of removed data temporarily. Should recovery from a backup become necessary, we maintain processes ensuring previously deleted data is identified and re-deleted promptly.
System Logs
Our app and related cloud services use system logging for monitoring, troubleshooting, and security purposes. These logs may contain limited elements of personal data entered in the system (such as user IDs). Logs are securely retained for a maximum of 30 days and are afterward deleted permanently.
Policy Updates
We periodically review and update this Privacy Policy to reflect new functionalities, regulatory requirements, or service adjustments. Whenever significant changes occur, we'll inform you via prominent announcements within simplido, email communications (to your registered email address), or through our official social media channels, giving you sufficient advance notice.
Your continued use of simplido after policy changes means you accept the updated terms.
By actively registering an account and using simplido, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy, including the collection, storage, use, and sharing of personal information as described herein.
